The appointed Product Marketing Manager will play a central and hands on role in Thought Machine’s newly formed marketing function, with an exciting remit focusing on Vault, our Product. You will play a key role in driving marketing generated sales pipeline in a rapidly growing, high-tech start-up focused on the banking industry.

We are looking for a talented individual who has experience working with top-tier companies to strategically position B2B products, along with building strong collateral to support the sales and marketing team. You will strive to understand the customer, shaping our approaches to segmentation, personas and value propositions and use this knowledge to enable the construction of messages that resonate.

You will work closely with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Director by driving the promotion of the product and engage customers. This includes curating offline and online collateral and sales supporting material for web, events, campaigns, social media and other channels.

DUTIES

  • Manage end to end creation, design and execution of market product strategies surrounding product positioning within the fintech market.
  • Produce world-class sales collateral that communicates the product value proposition, and drives target audience engagement.
  • Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
  • Compose and post online content on the company’s website and social media accounts.
  • Communicate directly with clients and partners and encourage trusting relationships where needed.
  • Understand trends in financial services, technology and SaaS to identify new topics for internal and external content

Requirements

Essential

  • 5+ years experience in Product Marketing or related field
  • Degree in Marketing, Engineering or other relevant field
  • Previous experience working in a Fintech, or a company selling technology solutions to financial services
  • Eager to work in a fast-moving, ever-changing fintech
  • Able to understand and effectively communicate technical products to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven track record of writing and publishing business-related documentation and presentations
