How We Work

It has been said that if the tech giants built banks, this is how it would be done. Hardly surprising, since our CEO, CTO, CIO, and COO – as well as many more of our engineers – all worked at Google prior to joining Thought Machine. While we are, of course, our own company, we learned from our time there and have adopted many of the same engineering principles which made them so successful, such as single repo continuous deployment software practices.

Working at

We strive hard to make Thought Machine the best possible working environment; a healthy mix of great technical work, fast pace, supportive atmosphere, and of course the irreverent sense of fun that we are known for. Every Friday we finish a little early, have some drinks and talk openly about how the week went. Football, running and other sports are organised and funded by the company. Team lunches, fireside chats with our chairman and off-site away days all contribute to make Thought Machine what it is.
